Your email domain on the Lavabox servers is to receive incoming email. Because of security issues, we prefer that you send email using the mail server provided by your Internet Service Provider.
Chances are good that you have already setup an email account that uses your Internet Service Provider's facilities, so the first step is to determine what the name of their SMTP (outgoing) server is.
Click Tools -> Accounts on the menu bar.

Next, click on the account that you setup with your Internet Service Provider, and then click the "Properties" button on the right.

On the next menu, click the Servers tab and note the setting for the "Outgoing mail server." You will need to specify this name later on as you setup your new Email account.

Now, you need to go back to the start, and click Tools -> Accounts, just like you did back in step 1.
On the screen that comes up, click the "Add' button.
This will launch an "Account Wizard" that will give you a few simple forms to fill out to setup your email accounts.
On the menu that looks like figure 2.1 below, click the option button labeled "Let me configure settings myself" and then click the "Next" button.

On the next screen, enter your name and email address. As the menu explains, the name is what will appear on emails that you send. You may specify your name, or perhaps the name of your business. It's all up to you, and can be changed later if necessary.
The "Email address" is very important. It is the address that will be specified when someone hits "Reply" to one of your emails. If it is incorrect, or if there is a typothere, then you will not receive replies to your emails.
Enter the new email address that was specified on the email that came from your friendly MediaWeb Tech Support department.
Figure 2.2. Enter name and email address
Next, enter the server information. The Incoming Mail server type will always be POP3.
The incoming mail server is the name of the server on the email to you by your friendly MediaWeb Tech Support when the email was setup on the server.
The Outgoing mail server is the server that we noted back in step 1. Enter that information here.

Finally, you need to enter the username and password to retrieve your email off the server.
The username looks like an email address and will be in the welcoming email that was sent to you at setup time. The password will also have been specified on the welcoming email.

At this point you're good to go.
